Favorite of Lori as a yungin.
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten

FOR CORN FRITTERS:
2 eggs instead of 1
use only 2 tbsp. milk
3/4-1 tsp. salt
1 c. canned kernel corn


Add dry to wet ingredients.

Deep fry at 360-370F. Turn as they rise to the top. Drain on paper towels.

CORN FRITTERS

Separate eggs, beat whites separately, set aside. Add milk to corn, then remaining ingredients. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites last.
