Butter Tart Squares
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 tbsp cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins
1 cup brown sugar

1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease one 9” x 9” square pan. In a mixing bowl combine the flour, 1/2 cup butter and the brown sugar. Press into prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Mix the 1/3 cup butter with the cream, vanilla, raisins and 1 cup brown sugar, flour, nuts and egg. Spread over base. Return to oven for 25 to 30 munutes or until nicely browned.
