German Frosting

1 cup canned milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup unsweetened coconut




Mix first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and whisk together.
Cook over low heat till thickened. (won't be super thick at this stage
but once you had the nuts and coconut and it cools it does thicken
up a lot) Stir in the nuts and coconut and you are done!
