SPICY BOURBON BBQ SAUCE

28oz can Tom sauce
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup grandads bourbon
1/4 cup molasses
1 TBSP dry mustard
1tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp celery seed
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 chipotle in Adobe sauce finely chopped
Mix all in a large saucepan. Bring to boil then simmer for a couple hours till it thickens to your taste. It makes quite a bit so I can some of it. No need to process because it has good acid. I sterilize jars and boil lids kinda like jam. If you don’t like spicy leave out chipotle.
