Linda's Wild Rice Broccoli casserole
Favorite potluck item!
1 box(or bag) uncle ben's long grain and wild rice blend
1 large head of broccoli OR (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli cuts
6-8 mushrooms, sliced (Optional)
1 can cream type soup - mushroom, celery or chicken
3/4 cup Cheez Whiz
1 can water chestnuts, diced
3-4 green onions, sliced
1 cup grated cheddar cheese, reserve half for topping

1 cup grated cheddar cheese, reserve half for topping
Cook Uncle Bens rice according to package directions
Cook broccoli until tender
Pan fry mushrooms
Preheat oven to 350 F
Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish, reserving 1/2 cup of grated cheddar for topping.
Heat through until cheese is melted.
