Poultry stuffing
Crock pot stuffing
1 large onion, diced
6 ribs of celery w leaves, diced
1/3 cup butter
Day old bread, about 1 1/2 loaves, cubed
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
fresh sage, thyme, parsley
poultry seasoning, to taste
salt & pepper
10 breakfast sausages, cooked & chopped
1 cup (about) chicken stock
All quantities are approximate

Saute onions & celery in butter till translucent. Add seasonings to butter/onion mixture, remove from heat. Toast bread cubes under broiler, add to a large bowlPour butter/onion mix over bread crumbs, add sausage meat. Mix. Add chicken stock just barely enough to moisten. Season to taste and cook in a lightly buttered crock pot on HIGH for 1 hour, LOW for 3 hours.
